So I bought this movie forever ago, and haven't gotten around to watching it until tonight. I'll have to say I'm glad I did.

New Movies-Troma City

Yup my job is awesome, people sell us stuff. Sometimes awesome stuff like sealed Troma VHS tapes. I picked these up a few days ago can't wait to run through a bunch of these one night soon. Thinking about a Blood Hook, Def by Temptation or Beware Children At Play review next. What do ya'll think which one first, let me know.

VHS Convention

Forgot to update about the convention. It was awesome met some cool people saw some good movies and picked up some awesome stuff. Thanks to everyone who put this together. I will definitley be there again next year.

VHS Movie Convention

This post isn't really a review, but I just wanted to tell you all how excited I am to go tho this convention. Check it out the Severed Short Film Night and VHS convention, Saturday May 19th. How can you go wrong independent short films, awesome VHS and awesome VHS collector's. Also I'm pretty siked that some of the dudes from some of my favorite websites  should be there, VHSHITFEST, LUNCHMEAT VHS among others. So if your into awesome movies and aren't a total technology snob you should go to this and support this festival. That's all for now.

Big Trouble In Little China

This is is one of the best movies ever made. Best director, best actor and most amazing story ever. On the hunt for a girl with green eyes a badass mother named Lo Pan, craves to be human again. Ok so lets start out with Jack Burton the coolest character of all time, a truck driving sandwich eating gambling ass kicking son of a bitch. Making deliveries Jack stops to visit his buddy Wang-and quickly proceeds to takes everyones money in cards. Wang's lady gets taken Jack's truck gets taken then the ass kicking begins. San Francisco never seemed this intense, full on street fight kung-fu funeral battles, kidnappings, sweet 80's glasses, Chinese mafia, dudes with glowing stuff coming out of their eyes and mouth, three storms.

Conjure and Command

The newest album from Toxic Holocaust, Conjure and Command might be one of the best albums I've ever heard.

This goddamn movie is one of my favorite movies of all time. I know it's new , and I know if based off an old genre but this movie is amazing. From start to finish this movie give laughs and scares throughout. The story line is fine and simple but it keeps your interest regardless. Nick Sommer might be one of my favorite actors after this movie, he has just the right amount of ridiculousness without being too ridiculous. The rest of the cast is awesome the killer is brutal. What else can I say, the only thing that would make this movie better would be a VHS release. I think I've watched this movie about 20 times already, and it's great every time. If your into slasher's from the 80's and awesome Richard Nixon masks give this movie a shot. Blood Junkie!!!

The Sleeper. For those of you who haven't this this gem yet, do yourself a favor and watch this movie. If 80's horror/slasher flicks are what your into this is your movie. It's like a breath of fresh air with all of the horrible remakes coming out, to see an original throwback story that's actually fun to watch. In a typical 80's sorority of nonchalant college girls, a killer waits for the perfect moment to strike. Without trying to give too much away that's the basic story. This movie has it all, semi-good acting, awesome 80's props and great cinematography. I waited for a while for this movie to come out, being all kinds of excited to order the VHS/DVD combo pack, not sure if was gonna be worthwhile. But I will have to say I was really excited when I put this on, the suspense from beginning to end held my attention the whole movie. After my first viewing I decided to watch it again, but this time on VHS. Damn, You could not imagine the difference. I literally felt like I was watching an old slasher classic I rented from Erols Video when I was a kid. So my only suggestion with this movie is if you get the chance to watch this throwback 80's gem, watch it on VHS. If you can't watch it anyway, but long live horror and long live The Sleeper.
